Two sisters discovered that their 89-year-old grandmother was being abused by four care workers by hiding a camera in her bedroom. Danielle Hinsley and Rebecca noticed a change in their grandmother's behavior and the presence of bruises on her face and wrists. In a move reminiscent of the popular Netflix show Fool Me Once, they placed a hidden camera in a photo frame in her room at a care home in Wolverhampton. The footage captured the workers shouting at Mrs. Wall, making fun of her, holding her legs in the air, and hitting her with a pillow. After viewing the footage, the sisters took it to the care home managers, the Care Quality Commission, and the police. The workers, Ame Tunkara, Morounranti Adefila, Danny Ohen, and Bridget Aideyan, were sentenced to jail. The sisters believe their grandmother waited for the trial to end before passing away. Only four of the eight care workers initially charged were found guilty. The family does not want to name the care home, but they acknowledge the other staff members who cared for Mrs. Wall were exceptional.
