A 33-year-old man named David Crowe has been taken into custody and charged with harassment and stalking near Taylor Swift's residence in New York. Several complaints were made regarding his erratic behavior, leading to his arrest on Monday. The New York Police Department announced that Crowe faces two counts each of harassment and stalking. This incident follows the recent attempted break-in at Swift's house. During the time of the incident, the singer was away from home, supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce, an NFL player, while his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, played against the Buffalo Bills. However, it has not been confirmed whether the suspect in the initial arrest is connected to the harassment and stalking case. Swift has unfortunately experienced numerous instances of men targeting her homes, including those in California and Rhode Island. In 2022, a man was arrested for drunkenly driving a car into Swift's New York building and allegedly attempting to gain entry. Additionally, one individual named Roger Alvarado unlawfully broke into her home and was discovered by the police sleeping in her bed. He was subsequently sentenced to six months in jail.
