A student from Slough named Mahnoor Cheema is studying for an impressive 28 A-levels in order to keep her options open. Alongside her coursework and exam preparation, she also manages multiple extra-curricular activities. While she takes four A-levels at her school, she studies the rest at home with her mother, Tayyaba, who also serves as her study partner. Despite her demanding schedule, Mahnoor still finds time for a social life. She credits her mother for instilling in her a deep passion for learning and books. Mahnoor attends Henrietta Barnett School in London, where she studies four A-levels, and then continues her additional studies at home. Her list of A-level subjects is extensive and diverse, including maths, languages, history, economics, business, computer science, and film studies. Mahnoor emphasizes that her parents have always encouraged her to have a balance between academics and extracurricular activities. Alongside her studies, she enjoys playing the piano, chess, swimming, and spending time with friends. Having moved to the UK from Pakistan at the age of nine, Mahnoor has already completed four A-levels since starting the sixth form in September. She plans to pursue higher education at either Oxford University or Imperial College, with the goal of becoming a doctor specializing in neuroscience and neurosurgery. Mahnoor attributes her success to her excellent memory and ability to quickly process information. She believes her mother's investments in brain-building activities during her childhood, such as arithmetic, chess, and classical music, have played a significant role in her academic achievements. Mahnoor's story has gained attention due to her exceptional abilities and dedication to her studies. She is also a member of Mensa, an organization for people with high IQs. As she continues to focus on her academic and personal development, Mahnoor hopes to inspire others with her achievements.
