Seoul Reports North Korea's Launch of Cruise Missiles off East Coast

According to South Korea's military, North Korea has fired multiple cruise missiles in the waters off its east coast. This adds to the ongoing tensions in the region as the nuclear-armed communist state has been conducting missile tests frequently in recent months. The latest launch occurred near the port of Sinpo, but details regarding the number and type of missiles used are still unclear. Just a few days ago, North Korea also test fired a new strategic cruise missile known as Pulhwasal-3-31. South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported this incident. South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) stated that they have been closely collaborating with the United States to monitor any further indications of North Korea's provocative actions.
