She, along with her father and sisters, was kidnapped from their home in Abuja. Despite efforts to find her, Nabeeha was killed by the kidnappers when the ransom they demanded was not paid. Her body was handed over to her family and buried according to Islamic rituals. News of Nabeeha's ordeal has sparked widespread grief and anger, highlighting the ongoing kidnapping crisis in Nigeria.
