A woman accused of killing two of her children in the US has made an appearance in a British court for extradition proceedings after being arrested in the UK. Kimberlee Singler, aged 35, was detained in central London on Saturday. According to US police, Singler's nine-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son were found dead in a Colorado home on 19 December, while her 11-year-old daughter was injured in the incident. Singler has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder, three counts of child abuse, and one count of assault. The UK's National Crime Agency (NCA) stated that Singler appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court on Monday for an extradition hearing and has been remanded in custody. She is scheduled to appear in court again on 29 January. The NCA spokesperson said Singler was arrested in London's Kensington area without any issues on 30 December. The Colorado Springs Police Department shared that they initially responded to a 911 call reporting a burglary at the Colorado residence on 19 December. Singler and her oldest daughter were found injured and received medical treatment at the scene and later transported to the hospital. The police later found that the reported burglary was unfounded. The department confirmed Singler's arrest in the UK and mentioned that more details would be shared in a future press conference.
