Jonathan Majors, known for his role in Marvel movies, has been accused of abusive behavior by his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Jabbari testified in court about the alleged incidents, including an assault that took place in a hired SUV in New York in March. She tearfully recounted how Majors threw glass candles at her head and berated her for mentioning an ex-boyfriend. Majors denies all charges and, if convicted, could face a year in prison. The accusations against Majors have put his career on hold, with Marvel delaying the release of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, where he plays the lead role. The incident involving Jabbari occurred in March, leaving her with bruises and a broken finger. She stated that Majors slapped her and placed his hand on her neck. During the trial, Jabbari, 30, revealed that she met Majors while working as a movement coach on the set of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in September 2021. Their relationship turned increasingly violent, with Majors allegedly throwing objects that damaged the walls and ignoring Jabbari for days after she attended a music festival. A recording of Majors yelling was played in court, where he referred to himself as a great man and expressed a desire to have a partner like Coretta Scott King or Michelle Obama. On the day of the incident, Jabbari grabbed Majors' phone, leading to a physical altercation in the backseat of the SUV. Surveillance footage reportedly showed Jabbari chasing Majors through the streets. Majors claims that it was Jabbari who assaulted him, stating that he emerged from the SUV with injuries and ripped clothing. The court heard that Jabbari allegedly tore buttons off his coat and tore the pocket using her bare hands. The trial is ongoing.
