Israel carries out large-scale airstrikes on Lebanon

Israel has launched a series of attacks on Lebanon in response to a rocket attack that killed a woman and injured others in northern Israel. According to Lebanese media, the attacks have led to damage to villages and buildings. Although Hezbollah is believed to be responsible for the rocket attack, they have not claimed responsibility. The conflict between the two sides has been ongoing since October when Hamas launched attacks on Israel. Israel Defense Forces spokesman, Daniel Hagari, announced on social media that fighter jets had initiated the attacks in Lebanese territory. More details about the air strikes are expected to be provided by the IDF soon. The rocket attack from Lebanon targeted the Safed area, specifically the Israeli military's northern command center. In a video, one of the rockets can be seen landing near a hospital gate. Hezbollah, a powerful non-state military force supported by Iran, was created to oppose Israel and is heavily armed.
