Orthodox Christians, with over 200 million believers globally, observe Christmas on 7th January due to their adherence to the Julian calendar, unlike other Christian denominations who follow the Gregorian calendar. Celebrations and parades commemorating this occasion have been occurring worldwide, spanning from Cairo to Moscow. The largest concentration of Orthodox Christians is found in Eastern Europe, particularly Russia and Ukraine. However, due to the ongoing conflict with Russia, many Ukrainians celebrated Christmas on 25th December last year after a legal alteration.
