Greta Thunberg faces charges after being arrested at a protest in London demanding Fossil Fuel divestment.

Greta Thunberg has faced charges following her arrest at a Fossil Free London protest, according to the Metropolitan Police. The 20-year-old is accused of violating a Section 14 order implemented by the police outside the InterContinental Hotel on Park Lane, where oil executives were convening for a meeting. Thunberg, a prominent climate change activist, was one of many protesters who had gathered to express their opposition to an Energy Intelligence Forum conference. In total, 27 individuals were arrested during the demonstration, with 26 of them being charged by the Met. Thunberg has been released on bail and is scheduled to appear for trial on 15 November.
