Two original scripts from two episodes of the popular TV show Friends, which were rescued from a bin, are now up for auction. These scripts were the drafts for the Season Four finale, and they were recovered in 1998 by a staff member at Fountain Studios in Wembley, where the episodes were filmed. The scripts were supposed to be destroyed to prevent any leaks about the ending. However, they were kept by a former employee in a bedside drawer before being discovered during a clear-out. The scripts are expected to fetch between £600 and £800 at the auction, which will take place on January 12th. Alongside the scripts, a production hoodie and a Friends DVD box set will also be auctioned. It is unclear who the scripts originally belonged to, but they could have been owned by a cast or crew member of the show. The head of operations at the auction house, who is a big fan of Friends, warned that dedicated fans may well exceed the estimated value of the scripts because of their sentimental value.
