Mother killed in Florida shooting during argument over Christmas gift

Two teenage brothers have been arrested after their sister was shot and killed during an argument over Christmas presents. The incident occurred in Florida when the 23-year-old woman was shot in the chest by her teenage brother while she was carrying her 10-month-old son. According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, the boy was then shot by his older brother, who had his own gun. The shooting took place after a dispute over who would receive more presents. The older brother, aged 15, fled the scene and discarded his weapon, as stated by Sheriff Bob Gualtieri. The 14-year-old younger brother, who was injured in the incident, will be taken into custody once he is discharged from the hospital. The case will be reviewed by local prosecutors to determine if he will be charged as an adult for the murder of his sister. The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital, suffering from internal bleeding, but her baby in the carrier was unharmed.
