An intoxicated passenger on a US-bound ANA flight from Tokyo bit a crew member, leading to the plane's return to Tokyo's Haneda Airport. The 55-year-old American man, who was heavily drunk, bit the attendant's arm, causing minor injuries. The passenger claimed to have taken a sleeping pill and had no recollection of the incident. This is the latest in a series of recent incidents that have impacted Japanese aviation. In another incident, an ANA domestic flight had to turn back due to a crack in the cockpit window. Fortunately, no one on board was harmed. Furthermore, there was a collision between a Japanese Airlines aircraft and a smaller coastguard plane in Haneda, resulting in the death of five people on the smaller aircraft. Additionally, there were two incidents involving ANA: one where their aircraft collided with a Delta Air Lines plane at Chicago airport and another where their plane clipped wings with a Korean Air and Cathay Pacific aircraft in Hokkaido. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in these incidents.
