According to a UK official source, about 17 British nationals, including children, are believed to be dead or missing following the Hamas attack on Israel on Saturday. The initial estimate had indicated that more than 10 individuals were affected. Meanwhile, the death toll in Israel has risen to 1,200, and over 900 people lost their lives due to Israeli airstrikes on Gaza. Nathanel Young and Bernard Cowan's deaths have been confirmed. Young, a 20-year-old attended JFS School, a Jewish school in North London, and served in the Israeli military. Cowan, on the other hand, grew up in Glasgow but later moved to Israel with his wife and three children. The family of Daniel Darlington also suspects that he was among the victims. His sister mentioned him as Danny on Instagram, referring to him as her "baby brother" who was killed alongside a friend at the Nir Oz kibbutz. Jake Marlowe, who formerly attended JFS in North London, was reported missing after working as a security guard at the Supernova music festival. The festival was attacked by militants, resulting in the death of 260 people. The incident occurred at the Re'im kibbutz, approximately 3.7 miles (6km) from the Gaza barrier.
