Rugby player Api Ratuniyarawa from Barbarians team faces allegations of sexual assault

Api Ratuniyarawa, a rugby player for the Barbarians team, is facing charges of sexual assault. The 37-year-old, who resides in West Northamptonshire, was scheduled to appear before Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Saturday. South Wales Police have accused him of both sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault by touching. Ratuniyarawa had been named in the Barbarians' squad for their upcoming game against Wales at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, which was set to kick-off at 14:30 GMT. Barbarian FC released a statement expressing their cooperation with the police and inability to provide further comment due to the ongoing investigation.
