A woman in Australia has been accused of stealing a delivery van filled with 10,000 Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The van disappeared from a petrol station in a suburb of Sydney on 29 November. After a week, the police found the van deserted in a car park, along with thousands of spoiled doughnuts. The 28-year-old woman was apprehended on Thursday and faces charges such as vehicle theft and driving while disqualified. CCTV footage supposedly shows the woman loitering at the service station around 4:00 am local time before entering the unattended delivery van and driving away. It is unclear if she was aware of the doughnuts inside the van, which included Christmas-themed and classic varieties. Krispy Kreme informed the police about the incident and assured customers that they were working to replace the stolen doughnuts.
