Police have disclosed the identities of the 18 victims who were fatally shot in the deadliest mass shooting in the US this year. Among the deceased were a grandfather, a talented young bowler, and four members of Maine's deaf community. The age of those killed ranged from 14 to 76. The suspected gunman injured an additional 13 people during the attack, which took place at a local bar and bowling alley in Lewiston. A manhunt for the suspect, 40-year-old Robert Card, is currently in its third day. Law enforcement officials have urged caution and described their "around-the-clock" efforts to locate him. Shelter in place orders in various communities have been rescinded, and businesses can choose to reopen. However, hunting is still prohibited in certain towns to prevent potential panic and emergency calls. A search of the Androscoggin River is ongoing, with additional dive resources being brought in on Saturday. Authorities found Card's vehicle and additional evidence near the river. Neighbourhood canvassing efforts and public cooperation have been requested as law enforcement continues to search for the suspect. The investigation has received over 530 tips and leads, but no solid breakthrough has been reported yet. However, a note, believed to be a suicide note addressed to his son, was discovered at a property linked to the suspect, along with his mobile phone. Investigators have not confirmed this information or provided details about the contents of the note.
