A British teenager named Alex Batty, who had been missing for six years, has returned to the UK, according to the Greater Manchester Police. Alex disappeared in 2017 while on vacation in Spain with his mother and grandfather. It is important to note that his mother does not have legal custody of the 17-year-old, and her whereabouts are currently unknown. In preparation for a press conference, the Greater Manchester Police are making arrangements at their headquarters. On Wednesday, Alex was discovered by a driver on a road near Toulouse in the French Pyrenees. The driver, who observed him, contacted the authorities. It was previously reported by the AFP news agency, citing a French prosecutor, that British police officers would accompany Alex on a flight from France. It is believed that Alex has been leading a nomadic lifestyle in spiritual communities with his mother and grandfather over the past few years. French officials stated that Alex decided to leave when his mother expressed a desire to go to Finland. After walking through the mountainous region of southern France for four days, he was found by a delivery driver in the middle of the night. The driver, Fabien Accidini, assisted Alex by lending him his phone and allowing him to use his Facebook account to contact his grandmother, Susan Caruana.
