Zara has decided to remove an advertisement after receiving complaints that the images used resembled those from the Israel-Gaza conflict. The clothing brand expressed regret over the "misunderstanding" and stated that some customers interpreted the pictures differently than its original intention. One of the images featured a model holding a mannequin wrapped in white plastic. The UK advertising watchdog reported receiving 50 complaints regarding the advertisement.
