A doctor from the British Army named Dr Alastair Bush has emerged as the winner of the World Mullet Championships' best international mullet title. Dr Bush, who is based at Bovington Camp in Dorset, expressed his immense pride in winning the trophy at the competition held in New South Wales, Australia. He first participated in a competition heat at a pub in Kurri Kurri in February, where he emerged victorious and then received an invitation to compete in the finals. The finals recently took place at a motorsport park in Hunter Valley. Dr Bush revealed that his mullet had been a two-year project aimed at raising funds and awareness for Testicular Cancer UK, a charity. He described his win as fantastic and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet incredible people and witness amazing haircuts at the event. Dr Bush began growing his mullet during the lockdown in October 2021 when he couldn't visit the barber shop. Mulletfest, which was initiated in 2018, takes place in Kurri Kurri and attracts numerous participants from around the world each year.
