The Charity Commission in the UK is investigating videos of antisemitic speeches given to UK students by Iranian generals. The regulator is also looking into footage of "death to Israel" chants at an Islamic charity's UK premises. Two videos, verified by the BBC, show talks by members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, one of which described an apocalyptic war on Jews. These videos raise concerns that the IRGC is trying to radicalise UK Muslims. The IRGC is a powerful paramilitary organization that supports militant groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. It has previously been linked to kidnappings and assassinations in the UK. The Charity Commission is examining the videos as part of its investigation into the Al-Tawheed (TUCF) Charitable Trust, which runs the Islamic charity involved in the chants. Conservative MP Alicia Kearns, the chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, has called the speeches a "brazen act of radicalisation" and has called for the IRGC to be proscribed as a terrorist group in the UK.
