Twitch Reverses Decision on Policy Regarding 'Artistic Nudity'

Twitch, the streaming platform, has reverted its decision to allow certain sexual content just days after announcing the change. CEO Dan Clancy stated that the platform will no longer permit depictions of real or fictional nudity in any form, regardless of the medium. The initial policy update aimed to allow previously banned sexual content with the condition of consent from viewers. However, Twitch received community backlash, mainly from its art community, due to the influx of AI-generated nudes flooding the platform. The only exception to the ban is incidental nudity found in mature-rated games. Clancy apologized for any confusion caused by the sudden change in policy.
