During her acceptance speech for Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift surprised fans by announcing her 11th studio album. Swift shared that she had been keeping this secret for the past two years and revealed that the new album, titled "The Tortured Poets Department," will be released on April 19. Shortly after the announcement, Swift shared the album cover on her social media accounts, captioning it with "All's fair in love and poetry" and signing off as the "Chairman of The Tortured Poets Department." The album is said to include 16 tracks, with possible bonus content in certain editions. Swift's previous album, "Midnights," was a massive success, selling 1.6 million copies in its first week in the US. This album went on to win Album of the Year at the Grammys, making Swift the first artist to win this award four times. The news of a new album has created excitement among fans, especially as it means additional material will be added to Swift's upcoming blockbuster Eras tour in Europe this summer. The tour already spans over three hours, with Swift revisiting each of her previous 10 albums.
