Spanish police have arrested six men, including an alleged ringleader from Albania, for their involvement in a gang that targeted luxury homes in southern Málaga province. The gang is believed to have carried out a total of 71 thefts in places like Marbella, Estepona, and Torremolinos. The suspects, who were ex-military personnel from Eastern Europe, were highly skilled in robberies and break-ins, utilizing military techniques and strict personal security measures. They were trained to access any property regardless of its security systems and were described as experts in boarding vessels and counter-surveillance. The gang reportedly carried firearms and resorted to physical violence in some of the robberies. With the assistance of a local businessman, the police were able to apprehend the suspects. The nationalities of the other five alleged gang members remain undisclosed.
