Three family members apprehended in connection with the killing of Sara Sharif

Three individuals, namely Sara Sharif's father, stepmother, and uncle, have been arrested on suspicion of murder upon their arrival in the UK from Pakistan. Surrey Police made the arrests at Gatwick Airport after the trio disembarked from a flight originating in Dubai at approximately 19:45 BST. Currently in custody, they will be interviewed in due course according to the police. Sara's lifeless body was discovered on August 10th at the residence she shared with the three adults in Woking. Interestingly, the suspects had left the UK for Pakistan a day prior to the authorities finding Sara's body. Following a post-mortem examination, it was revealed that she had suffered multiple and severe injuries. Sara's mother has been notified of this recent development by the police.
