Moscow reports Ukrainian prisoners of war on board Russian aircraft involved in a crash.

A military transport plane from Russia, specifically an Ilyushin-76, has crashed in the southern Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defence has reported that at least 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed in the crash. The Ria Novosti news agency has stated that there were nine people on board, including six crew members. The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, acknowledged that there had been an incident but did not provide any further details. Videos shared on social media depict the plane descending near the village of Yablonovo and subsequently exploding at approximately 11:00 local time.
