Beyoncé has announced the highly anticipated second part of her Renaissance project in a Super Bowl advertisement. At the end of the ad for Verizon, a US communications giant, the singer instructed, "Okay, they ready. Drop the new music." Following the advertisement, Beyoncé released two new songs titled "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages." The forthcoming album, set to be released on March 29th, is expected to have a country music influence. In the advert, Beyoncé attempts to overload Verizon's capacity and "break the internet" in various absurd ways, including playing the saxophone, dressing as Bar-bey (Barbie), creating a "Beyonc-AI robot," running for president, and performing from space. Actor Tony Hale, known for his role in Veep, keeps track of whether the internet collapses in response. In the final moments of the ad, Beyoncé radios back to Hale from the orbiting rocket, declaring, "Okay, they ready. Drop the new music." During the Super Bowl, Beyoncé was present with her husband Jay-Z and their daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi. Footage captured her calmly sipping a drink in the crowd after the advertisement. The first part of Beyoncé's Renaissance project was released in July 2022, and she later revealed that it was the first of a three-act project. This album earned her a record-breaking 32nd Grammy. Almost a year later, she embarked on the Renaissance World Tour, which was subsequently released as a film.
