The former manager of Venezuelan rapper Canserbero has admitted to killing him, according to a video statement released by Venezuela's attorney-general. Canserbero's death in 2015 was initially ruled a suicide, but ex-manager Natalia Améstica claimed that she had drugged and stabbed the rapper. She further stated that with the assistance of her brother, she threw his body from a 10th-story window. The rapper's death shocked fans, as it was initially believed that he had killed his friend Carlos Molnar before taking his own life. However, doubts about the official version of events led to the reopening of the case last month. In the video statements, Améstica revealed that she became enraged during a tour of Chile when she learned that she would not be reimbursed for plane tickets she bought or receive a share of tour profits. She also discovered that Canserbero wanted to end their professional relationship. Améstica confessed to drugging and stabbing both Canserbero and Molnar before contacting her brother and authorities to create a murder-suicide scene. Arrest warrants have been issued for the Sebin officers present at the scene, a forensic pathologist, and two investigators involved in the case. Several individuals are currently in custody, while others are still being sought.
