A manhunt for the perpetrator of the recent shooting in Brussels has led the local police to shoot an individual in a café in the Schaerbeek neighborhood. Although Belgian prosecutors have acknowledged the incident, they have not yet confirmed whether the man was indeed the attacker. The city has been in a state of high alert following Monday's attack. According to Belgian Interior Minister Annelies Verlinden, the person shot is suspected to be the attacker and may have passed away en route to the hospital. Verlinden also revealed that the automatic weapon found on the suspect matched the one used in the previous assault.
