Post-mortem tests have revealed that two young girls found dead alongside other family members in Costessey, near Norwich, died from knife wounds to the neck. The bodies of 12-year-old Jasmin Kuczynska and 8-year-old Natasha Kuczynska were discovered on Friday, along with the bodies of Bartlomiej Kuczynski, 45, and Kanticha Sukpengpanao, 36, who were both found to have died from stab wounds to the neck. The deaths of Ms. Sukpengpanao, Jasmin, and Natasha are being treated as murder, and the police have confirmed that Mr. Kuczynski's death is not suspicious, ruling out the involvement of any other individuals in the murders. Norfolk Police has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) for investigation. It has come to light that Mr. Kuczynski called the emergency services shortly before the bodies were discovered, expressing confusion and concerns about his mental state. He was directed to seek medical advice and call the NHS helpline, but the police did not arrive until a second emergency call was made an hour later. The IOPC will be examining whether the police response to the initial call was handled appropriately and in accordance with their policies and procedures. Additionally, they will reach out to the families of the deceased to explain their role in the investigation.
