Western Afghanistan experiences a fresh earthquake.

In recent news, another earthquake has occurred in western Afghanistan, shortly after two powerful tremors devastated the region, causing the tragic loss of over 1,000 lives. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has stated that this latest earthquake measured a magnitude of 6.3 and was centered near the city of Herat. The quake's epicenter was located at a depth of 8.2km (five miles). Thankfully, there have been no casualties reported thus far.
