Archaeologists in Wales have uncovered a rare medieval cemetery, believed to date back to the 6th or 7th Century. Eighteen of the estimated 70 graves have been excavated so far, revealing some well-preserved skeletons in unusual positions. The artefacts found at the site, including fragments of dishes and cups, suggest that the community during this time lived very differently from how we do today. The discovery of imported items, such as a piece of glass from France and pottery from North Africa, indicates that the people buried here were of a high status. Further research and DNA analysis will provide more information about this ancient community, but many questions still remain unanswered. The cemetery offers a valuable glimpse into the lives of individuals and the community during a relatively unknown era.
