An iconic leather jacket worn by Michael Jackson in the 1980s has been sold for £250,000 ($306,000) at an auction in London. The black-and-white jacket, famously worn by the late singer in a Pepsi advert, was expected to sell for between £200,000 and £400,000. The auction featured over 200 pieces of music memorabilia, including items linked to George Michael, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Oasis, and The Beatles. Jackson wore the jacket in a series of commercials for Pepsi in 1984, one of which saw his hair catch fire, resulting in serious burns. Another high-value item was a beehive hairpiece worn by Amy Winehouse, which sold for £18,750 ($22,900).
