In London, a security guard employed by McDonald's was caught on camera mopping a street and soaking the area where a homeless man was sitting. The incident took place outside a McDonald's on Victoria Street, where the guard can be seen gesturing for the homeless man to move further down the street. Another worker was filmed kicking the man's belongings away while cleaning the floor. The footage, which was shared on social media, also showed the security guard splashing water on the pavement where the man had been sitting with his sleeping bag. One witness attempted to film the incident but was stopped by another security guard. Damon Evans, who recorded the video, expressed his outrage while describing the situation as disgraceful. McDonald's responded to the incident by stating that they have removed the security guards involved, apologizing to the homeless man and vowing to support homelessness charities and organizations in the future.
