Kelly Khumalo implicated in alleged plot to have Senzo Meyiwa killed in South Africa

According to court testimony, South African gospel singer Kelly Khumalo has been accused of ordering the murder of her former boyfriend, football star Senzo Meyiwa. Meyiwa was shot while trying to protect Khumalo from armed robbers in 2014, and five suspects were arrested last year. The lead investigator, Bongani Gininda, claimed in court that Khumalo had orchestrated a contract killing. Khumalo and Meyiwa have a child together, but Gininda alleged that she had a falling-out with him and wanted to eliminate him, citing communication records between Khumalo and her sister.
