Actor Jeremy Renner, known for his roles in Marvel films, revealed that his determination to fight for his family and loved ones helped him survive a snow plough accident last year. The incident occurred on New Year's Day in 2022 when Renner accidentally ran over himself with his snow plough, resulting in over 30 broken bones and critical condition. In an interview with CNN, Renner expressed his gratitude for having a lot to live for, including his large family and 10-year-old daughter. He acknowledged that passing away would have disappointed and devastated many people's lives. Renner's stubbornness played a significant role in his recovery, as he saw it as the only path forward. The accident occurred during a severe snowstorm in several US states. Renner had used the snow plough to help his nephew, whose car was stuck in the snow near his house. While attempting to prevent the plough from moving, he was crushed by the large piece of machinery. Renner was airlifted to the hospital and spent time in the intensive care unit. He acknowledged the trauma experienced by his nephew, who witnessed the incident, but believed that his own healing process would also bring healing to those affected, including his daughter. Renner expressed his unwavering determination to get better, adopting a positive mindset throughout his recovery. He recently visited the hospital that treated him to express his gratitude and appreciation for the staff. Renner is preparing to return to filming for the third season of the Paramount+ series The Mayor Of Kingstown, stating that he feels strong enough and is ready to give his best effort.
