"A Palestinian man has described his experience in an Israeli prison as abnormal following the release of 30 more prisoners under the truce with Hamas. Younis Hawamdeh, who did not provide further details, referred to the unnamed facility as a "tragedy". The Israeli prison service maintains that all detainees are held in accordance with the law. After Hamas released eight more hostages, Israel announced on Thursday that it had released additional Palestinian prisoners, bringing the total to 105 hostages and 240 Palestinian prisoners set free. The freed Palestinians arrived in Ramallah late Thursday via a Red Cross bus, consistent with previous exchanges. Several of the recently released prisoners shared their stories with Reuters, recounting instances of torture and abuse during their detention. The remaining prisoners are hopeful for their own release soon. Israeli prison authorities, who have faced allegations of abuse from other freed Palestinians, have not yet released a full list of those freed. Moving images captured tearful reunions between Palestinians and their loved ones, while others proudly waved Hamas flags atop a bus."
