Jet ski accident at Leeds Bradford Airport during heavy rainfall during the holidays.

During Storm Babet, a holiday aircraft skidded off a runway while attempting to land in wet and windy conditions at Leeds Bradford Airport. The TUI flight from Corfu veered off the runway upon arrival on Friday afternoon, according to the airline. The airport is working closely with emergency services to safely evacuate the passengers. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries or fires, as confirmed by West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service. Both the airport and the airline are cooperating with relevant teams and authorities to address the situation and safely remove the passengers. The fire service's command unit has been stood down. Storm Babet has brought heavy rain and caused disruptions throughout the UK.
