Daniel Radcliffe has created a documentary about his stunt double from the Harry Potter films, who became paralyzed while filming. The documentary, titled "The Boy Who Lived," took four years to make and will be released on HBO. It includes interviews with both Radcliffe and the stunt double, David Holmes, as well as footage from Holmes' stunts. Holmes, a former gymnast from Essex, was selected to be Radcliffe's double in the first Harry Potter film when he was just a teenager. However, a stunt rehearsal accident in 2009 resulted in a spinal injury that changed his life forever. The documentary will not only highlight Holmes' achievements in front of the camera but also the challenges he faces on a daily basis and his overall attitude towards life after the accident. Holmes expressed his gratitude to medical staff, as well as JK Rowling and Radcliffe for their support. This isn't the first collaboration between Radcliffe and Holmes, as the actor had previously helped launch Holmes' podcast called Cunning Stunts. "The Boy Who Lived" will be available for streaming on Sky Documentaries and NOW starting from 18 November.
