Evacuation of Hamburg Students after Teacher Allegedly Threatened with Firearm

A police operation is currently happening in Hamburg after two young individuals with weapons apparently threatened a teacher at a school and then escaped. The Hamburg Police have cordoned off roads in the Blankenese area and have sent armed officers into the school. Some students have been evacuated and will be taken to a nearby barracks. It is not known at this time if anyone has been injured. The Hamburg Police took to social media to inform the public about the threat situation at the Blankenese district school and stated that they are on the scene and taking initial actions. According to the initial investigation, two young people threatened a teacher with a weapon and then ran away from the classroom. German TV station NDR mentioned that it is unclear if the suspects are students from the Blankenese district school and noted that there is no evidence of any injuries.
