A circus performer was injured after falling from a great height during a show at the Hippodrome Circus in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The acrobat, who is in his 20s, fell while performing on the "giant wheel of death" apparatus. A video captured the moment of the fall, showing the acrobat plummeting at least 10 meters. Although the exact nature of his injuries is unclear, the circus manager mentioned that it is likely that he has broken bones. Fortunately, the performer was conscious after the fall and received immediate assistance from two audience members, who happened to be an off-duty police officer and a paramedic. The incident prompted the immediate halt of the show, and emergency services were called. Health and safety officials were also informed and are expected to investigate the accident and the apparatus involved. The injured acrobat's brother, who is also his partner in the act, accompanied him to the hospital along with circus staff. The local authorities and the ambulance service have been contacted for further information.
