Two fishermen in Indiana became heroes after finding a truck driver trapped under a bridge for six days following a crash. Mario Garcia and his son-in-law Nivardo De La Torre were fishing when they stumbled upon Matthew Reum, 27, whose truck had crashed off Interstate 94 on 20 December. Reum's leg had to be amputated, and he is currently in intensive care. The driver had stayed alive by drinking rainwater, as he had no access to food during his ordeal. The fishermen's discovery prevented what could have been a tragic outcome, as there were no prior reports of the crash in that area.
