Supporters of Liverpool Football Club have started a campaign to fulfill the dream of former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, who has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. The fans want Eriksson to manage a Liverpool Legends home game against Ajax Legends in March. Eriksson, who is a lifelong Liverpool fan, expressed his desire to manage the club but acknowledged that it would not happen. The campaign gained momentum on social media, with former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler indicating that calls had been made to make it happen. Eriksson confirmed that he would accept the position if offered and expressed his gratitude for the support. The charity match between Liverpool FC Legends and AFC Ajax Legends on 23 March will raise funds for LFC Foundation and charity partners. The campaign is seen as an example of how football fans can unite to make people's dreams come true. The BBC has reached out to Liverpool Football Club for comment.
