The daughter of a woman in Florida who was killed by an alligator has spoken out about the pain and grief her family is experiencing. Breauna Dorris, in a Facebook post, revealed that her mother, Sabrina Peckham, was homeless and living near the area where she was attacked. Dorris believes that her mother may have been on her way to her campsite when the alligator attacked her from the water. Dorris also addressed false claims on social media that her mother had provoked the alligator. She expressed her love for her mother and the devastating impact the loss has had on their family. Dorris has started a fundraising page to help with funeral expenses, which has already received more than $4,000 in the first 24 hours. The authorities discovered Ms. Peckham's remains in a canal and subsequently killed a 13ft alligator that had human remains in its jaw. An investigation will be conducted to determine the circumstances surrounding Ms. Peckham's death.
