Donald Trump Jr's social media account on X was hacked, and a series of false messages were posted claiming that his father, Donald Trump, had passed away. The posts, which also included a racial slur directed at President Joe Biden, were swiftly deleted from the account, which has 10 million followers. The Trump Organization confirmed that the account was indeed hacked. Some of the other hacked posts made references to controversial figures like Jeffrey Epstein and Logan Paul, while one mentioned the SEC's fraud charges against cryptocurrency influencer Richard Heart. The false posts started appearing in the morning and remained up for less than an hour. Meanwhile, Donald Trump Sr. posted unrelated content on his Truth Social account. Andrew Surabian, a spokesman for Trump Jr., acknowledged the hacking incident and assured that the posts were clearly false. Although Trump Jr. hasn't explicitly mentioned the hack, he liked a tweet mentioning the incident. The social media platform, X, has not yet provided any comment on the matter. Donald Trump Jr. continues to use X, which is now owned by Elon Musk. Truth Social, a social media platform created by Donald Trump after his X account was suspended, remains operational under the ownership of Musk's company.
