Teenage Girl Fatally Stabbed in Croydon, South London

A 15-year-old girl has been fatally stabbed in Croydon, south London. A video posted on social media shows numerous police vehicles and ambulances surrounding a bus near the Whitgift Centre on Wellesley Road. Shortly after the girl's death at 09:21 BST, a teenager was arrested, and a murder investigation has been launched. The police suspect that the assailant may have had a prior connection with the victim. The Metropolitan Police collaborated with the British Transport Police to apprehend the teenager. Ch Supt Andy Brittain expressed condolences to the girl's family and emphasized that support was being provided.
