The Princess of Wales, Catherine, has been discharged from the hospital after undergoing abdominal surgery. According to a statement from Kensington Palace, she has returned to her home in Windsor and is making good progress in her recovery. There were no public appearances as she was driven away from the London Clinic private hospital. The specific details regarding the surgery have not been disclosed, but it is expected that the princess will require several months to recuperate. Consequently, she will not resume her official duties until after Easter. Kensington Palace expressed gratitude to the medical team at the hospital and acknowledged the worldwide well wishes received. Interestingly, Catherine was admitted to the same hospital as the King, who sought treatment for an enlarged prostate and visited her prior to his own procedure on Friday.
