A woman named Sian Sexton has been reunited with her missing pet cat after 11 years. Daisy, the cat, disappeared shortly after Sian and her owner moved to Caerphilly from Dorset in 2012. However, Sian recently received a surprising phone call from a vet in Caerphilly who informed her that a cat with a microchip registered to her had been brought into the clinic. Sian was shocked by the news. She later learned that Daisy had been living as a stray in Caerphilly all this time and was taken to the vet by concerned locals. Daisy was in poor health, suffering from matting and cat flu. Despite these challenges, Daisy is responding well to medication at 17 years old, the same age as her sister Dory who still lives with Sian. Once Daisy is healthy enough, she will be reintroduced to her sister and the other cats in Sian's household. Sian described Daisy as a loving cat who craves attention, even after living as a feral cat for so long. Sian and her husband will be moving soon, and as a precaution, Daisy will likely become a house cat to ensure she doesn't go missing again.
