Fatal Incident on Bribie Island: Australian Man Fatally Buried in Sand

According to authorities, a man from Australia has tragically died after being buried alive in sand on a beach. The incident occurred when Josh Taylor, 23, fell into a hole that had been dug for roasting a pig, at a beach campground on Queensland's Bribie Island. After the incident, Mr. Taylor was airlifted to the hospital but unfortunately passed away from his injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death and believe there may be multiple witnesses who have not yet come forward. It has been reported that it took around 15 people to free Mr. Taylor from the sand, and wildlife rangers performed CPR until paramedics arrived. In a heartfelt statement, Mr. Taylor's family described him as the best son, brother, boyfriend, and friend, and expressed their gratitude to hospital staff. A fundraiser page has been set up to support Mr. Taylor's family, raising over A$65,000 ($42,000; £34,000) so far.
