The found files were promptly returned to US officials upon their discovery. However, the report states that the evidence does not establish Biden's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and therefore, he will not face charges. Special Counsel Robert Hur of the Justice Department further asserted that prosecution of Biden is unwarranted based on the assessment of aggravating and mitigating factors. Following the White House's decision not to request any redactions, Hur's 345-page report has been made public.
